BURLINGTON, NC-(May 23, 2012)-For the past two years, Westside’s women’s doctors, based in Burlington, N.C., have walked for babies in the annual March of Dimes fundraiser. The 2012 March of Dimes walk in Alamance County was held on Saturday, March 31. Despite the rainy weather, Westside had an extraordinary turnout and a lot of fun. We would like to extend a warm and appreciative “Thank You!” to all our Westside patients and friends who made generous donations. With your support we were able to raise over $4,000 for the March of Dimes Foundation.
Westside’s women’s doctors are passionate about health education, believing that a patient’s best health begins with an understanding of the body, healthcare options, risk factors and support resources. Our annual participation in the March of Dimes allows us to extend our educational reach to moms and prospective moms across the United States.
