-Regular Medicaid will be seen for any office visit, but there is a $3 copay for all patients 21+.
-Carolina Access Medicaid patients may be seen for problem visits or prenatal care, but you must be referred by the primary care physician listed on your insurance card – you cannot make appointments for yourself & there is a $3 copay for all patients 21+.
-North Carolina Health Choice Medicaid patients (<18 years) may be seen for problem visits only and must be referred by the primary care physician listed on your card.
-Family Planning Medicaid patients can be seen up to 6 times in a year for well-woman annual exams only if you are seeking contraception and follow up appointments related to contraceptive management.
-Pregnancy Medicaid patients may be seen for prenatal care and problems that may affect your pregnancy; no other visits (example: primary care) will be covered by this type of Medicaid.
