Calling the Office

When calling the office, patients are now greeted by a live receptionist instead of an automated system. If your call is not answered immediately, please listen to the options given by our on hold message and a receptionist will be with you as quickly as possible.

Holiday Closings

Our Holiday closings are as follows: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day.

Updates regarding delayed office openings or office closings may be found on WFMY News 2, on our Facebook page, or by calling (336) 538-1880 for Westside’s automated message.

Medical Records Release Form

If asked to complete a medical records release form, please click here. Once the form is completed you can fax the form to our Medical Records department at (336) 538-1895.

Medication and Prescriptions

For prescription refills please notify your pharmacy. You may also submit requests for prescription refills through our Patient Portal and the message will be received and processed by our clinical staff.

Lab Results

Laboratory testing (blood draws, urine samples, etc.) is performed by a LabCorp technician in our Burlington and Mebane offices. Patients who do not wish to have their labs drawn in office may request an order to go to a LabCorp drawing station or Alamance Regional Medical Center. As we send all labs out of the office to LabCorp for processing, please allow at least a week for the results to be processed and returned to our office before calling.

Our clinical staff will provide a lab reminder card for patients who come in for their Pap smears so that they may check their results either by phone or online (www.labcorp.com). Results will be posted within 7-10 business days, provided that the results are normal. All abnormal Pap smear results and any other lab results will be delivered to the patient by their healthcare provider.

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy to our patients, you will receive a reminder phone call two days before your appointment date. You will have several options: confirm, cancel or leave a message. Please listen to the entire reminder message and then either confirm or cancel your appointment.
